Kek Associates, Inc. exists because organizations regularly face decisions that benefit from an outside, disciplined perspective — decisions about structure, spending, risk, and direction that are difficult to evaluate objectively from inside an organization. Rather than offering standardized packages, the firm approaches every engagement as its own problem to be understood before it is addressed. That means asking questions before proposing answers, and being willing to say when a proposed course of action does not hold up under scrutiny.

Karl D. Kober serves as President of Kek Associates, Inc., where he oversees the firm's client engagements and sets the standards by which advisory work is carried out. Under his direction, the firm has maintained a deliberately narrow focus: take on the engagements where an outside, disciplined perspective will genuinely change the quality of a decision, and decline the ones where it will not.
