Advertising Policy
How Kek Associates, Inc. uses Microsoft Advertising (Bing) to understand and, where applicable, measure engagement with this Site.
On This Page
1. Purpose of This Policy
Kek Associates, Inc. ("Kek Associates," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to being transparent about how technologies from Microsoft Advertising, commonly associated with the Bing search and advertising network, may be used on kekassociates.us (the "Site"). This Advertising Policy describes what those technologies are, what information they may collect, how that information may be used, and how you can exercise choice over it. This Policy supplements, and should be read alongside, our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
2. About Microsoft Advertising
Microsoft Advertising is the advertising platform operated by Microsoft Corporation that serves advertisements across Bing, Microsoft Edge, and a network of partner sites. Businesses that advertise through Microsoft Advertising, including Kek Associates, Inc. where applicable, can use tools provided by Microsoft to understand how visitors reach and interact with their websites. This Policy does not mean that every visitor will see advertising from us; rather, it explains the measurement technology that may be present on the Site regardless of whether a given visitor arrived by clicking an advertisement.
3. Universal Event Tracking (UET)
Microsoft Advertising's primary measurement tool is the Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag, a small snippet of code that, where implemented, may be placed on pages of the Site. The UET tag can set cookies on your browser and communicate limited information back to Microsoft Advertising in order to: measure the actions visitors take after arriving at the Site; help distinguish between new and returning visitors in the aggregate; and support reporting on the general effectiveness of any advertising associated with our business. The UET tag does not, on its own, identify you by name.
4. What Information Is Collected
Information collected through Microsoft Advertising technologies on the Site is generally limited to technical and behavioral data, such as: your IP address and general geographic location derived from it; browser and device characteristics; the pages of the Site you visit and the general actions you take on them; and cookie identifiers used to recognize a browser across visits. This data is processed by Microsoft in accordance with its own privacy practices, described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
5. How This Information Is Used
Where Microsoft Advertising technologies are active on the Site, the resulting information may be used by Kek Associates, Inc. to understand, in aggregate, how visitors found and used the Site, and to evaluate the general performance of any advertising placed through Microsoft Advertising. This information is used for measurement and reporting purposes. It is not used by us to make automated decisions about individual visitors, and we do not use the content of private communications, such as emails, to inform this measurement.
6. Remarketing
Microsoft Advertising may also support remarketing, a practice in which a business can choose to display subsequent advertising to visitors who previously visited its website, based on cookie identifiers rather than personal identity. If remarketing is used in connection with the Site, it operates through the same UET and cookie mechanisms described above, and is subject to the same opt-out choices described in Section 7.
7. Your Choices & Opt-Out
You have several ways to control or opt out of Microsoft Advertising-related tracking:
- Use the cookie consent banner on this Site, or select "Cookie Settings" in the footer, to decline non-essential cookies, which includes advertising cookies associated with Microsoft Advertising.
- Visit Microsoft's own opt-out tool at choice.microsoft.com/en-us/opt-out to manage personalized advertising across Microsoft products and partner sites.
- Use industry-wide opt-out tools such as the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page, which cover many advertising networks, potentially including Microsoft Advertising.
- Adjust your browser settings to block or delete third-party cookies generally, as described in our Cookie Policy.
Please note that opting out of personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all data collection related to Site analytics, and it does not affect advertising unrelated to Microsoft Advertising that may appear on other websites you visit.
8. Related Policies
This Advertising Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes our broader data practices, and our Cookie Policy, which describes the categories of cookies used across the Site, including but not limited to those associated with Microsoft Advertising.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Advertising Policy periodically to reflect changes in our use of Microsoft Advertising technologies or changes in applicable law. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
